About Me:

One day you'll find that I have gone
But tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun

- The Beatles

I have never been the type that followed the crowd. As one of eight children I learned how to make myself seen, heard, and remembered. I have always created my own spotlight and proudly stood separate from everyone else. Growing up I always had flair for expansive expressions. I was lovingly referred to as the “drama queen” of the family. To this day still I am loud, expressive, and unique.

My southern upbringing highlighted the importance of faith, family, and education. I grew up in a loving family who allowed freedom to find who I am as a person. The acceptance of my faith created an overwhelming acceptance of myself and gave me a path to walk all my life. My faith has allowed me to embrace my failures and strengthen my weaknesses.

My education has always been a hands on experience. Being home-schooled all my life, I learned to excel at my own pace which allowed me to spend more time on subjects I enjoyed. Along with a very immersive educational experience, I was able to enjoy intense classes included in a complete classical education. Classic literature, philosophy, and history were among the most prevalent of my education. This grew to something I understood and excelled at. I became very outspoken about deep moral principles. This inspired my love of Art History and aroused an interest in other cultures. I became involved in government camps and took an interest in politics. Among the subjects I enjoyed, I had always enjoyed one subject more the rest. Writing was my outlet. I loved expressing my thoughts in an organized manner. It helped me to consciously consider the ideals in my life I wanted to express on paper. I have learned and written more than I could ever express; however, this has only inspired me into the future education I am seeking. I am seeking a degree in Political Science with a minor in Journalism. I have a desire to pair my love of writing with the study of our government in hopes of making a difference in my generation.

My future can only be determined with my ability to strive for excellence. I know I am capable of great things and devoted to see change in the portions of our world that need it. Wherever I go I know that my goal will remain the same to change the things I can. The person I am is a mixture of the people who molded me. Though I have been poured into I am still a shadow of the person I strive to be. I am grateful for the opportunity to be seen.

This is my sister and I at the bottom of the most dangerous hike in the country. It is called Angels Landing in Zion national park in Utah. We were able to hike the entire mountain together.

This was my Junior Prom in the Spring of 2021.

In August of 2020 my family and I took a trip to Oregon. This is me and my younger sister at Devils Lake. This day we hiked 12 miles on the Green Lakes Trail outside of Bend, Oregon.
